Description:
Lambert describes his calculus of lines and letters to compute the truth of syllogisms.
This kind of calculus was rather popular around the time, Holland and
Plouquet also published own variants of such systems. Lambert himself
developed five more that were published posthumously in the Logische und Philosophische Abhandlungen (1782).
